APEX Programmes Awards

In the pursuit of promoting safer operations and cooperation between ICAO, aviation stakeholders and airports worldwide, ACI World launched the APEX in Safety programme in 2012 and in 2017 the APEX in Security programme. These initiatives are designed for airports of all sizes to reach the highest levels of safety and security inline with ICAO standards and ACI’s best practices.

An APEX review is an on-site assessment conducted by industry peers. The review is tailored to meet the needs of the airport to be reviewed (Host Airport in accordance to the risk environment and operational realities and to provide recommendations to optimize operational management.

APEX programmes cannot exist without the contribution of ACI partners. The APEX programmes award, held during the 2019 ACI Asia-Pacific/World Annual General Assembly, Conference & Exhibition, aims to recognize contributions to the success of the programme.
